DEVELON Europe's new dozer gains market share and factory fitted 3D machine control from Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon. Product specialist STEPHANE DIEU spoke to me about the DD130-7 Dozer and the importance of its new 3D machine control partnership at its recent press event. Stephane: "We launched this machine a year ago, and the response has been beyond our expectations. With hours of rigorous testing and now a factory fit 3D machine control solution from Leica Geosystems, this machine is ready to work. "It's also ready for different markets as we have three track options tailored for specific terrains and applications they include: A 560mm track with a smaller blade, ideal for southern Europe. A 710mm track with a 3.3m blade, suited for the UK market. A 760mm LGP track with a 3.6m blade for maximum ground contact. "When setting up the factory fit solution, our engineering team worked closely with the Leica Geosystem technical experts to develop the solution and installation. This enabled us to optimise the battery process and ensure warranty coverage.
