Komatsu D61PX-15 Hydraulic pumps and Motor Strip, Clean and Rebuild process. All three units came into us due to leaking. On stripping the units our engineer found in the HSS Pump the Swash support was badly worn along with the link arm, the HSS Motor's Valve plate was cracked and in the Fan pump the swash support and ball bearing were badly worn, the pistons and the piston sub assembly had a lot of lift in them and the retainer plate and ball guide had signs of wear. Therefore, we replaced all damaged/ worn parts and lapped all cylinder blocks and valve plates back to 100% contact and replaced all bearings and seals as standard. All these problems was down to having the wrong grade of oil in the tank. Unit now back to OEM standards and now back working on the machine.
