This video is a step back in time. We’ve been sharing our life in Northern Sweden for a while now, but we realized something, you might not really know who we are, where we came from, or how we ended up here. So we rewind. We’ve been together since 2008. High school sweethearts, building a life in the Netherlands, working demanding jobs, traveling the world, and enjoying everything life had to offer. From South America to Africa, Indonesia, the United States, and all across Europe, travel shaped who we were. But somewhere along the way, something started to shift. In 2020, our first trip to Norway changed everything. Snow, silence, nature... it completely flipped our idea of what a “good life” could look like. Not long after, Sweden entered our lives… and this time, it felt different. It felt like home. In this video, we share the journey that followed: the doubts, the dreams, the decision to emigrate, starting over in a new country, building a home, running a B&B with zero experience, becoming parents, facing setbacks, celebrating the quiet moments, and learning to truly live with the seasons.
