Bogart the Pittie was overlooked at the shelter, but Heather and Thomas Knudson decided to take Bogart home as his forever family and haven't looked back. A lot to handle at first, Bogart needed to channel his energy into training and playitme. In addition to helping socialize dogs at the shelter he was rescued from, he also started agility training which he loved. However, last fall Bogart developed a cancerous tumor on his back leg and Heather and Thomas made the tough decision to have his leg amputated. Afterwards, Bogart would cry and refused to eat. As Bogart started to recover and got his old personality back, he started his agility training again and he even won some competitions, outpacing his four legged competition.
