After coaching thousands of people of all ages, backgrounds and levels, I appreciate the damage that can be done be giving someone a false sense of security. Jake Mace is a fake martial artist or a completely untested one that is giving bad advice. Kungfu or not! He's a vegan and I respect that, he's also clearly a skillful gardener, I admire that. But when someone is giving poor self defence tips, I have to say something. I don't care about his Kung Fu style, I care about whether something would keep someone safe or not. I'd like to see Jake Mace fight, like actually go to an open tournament and show his skills. Not just Jake Mace sparring some random people he knows.
