Jagaux is a solderless bluetooth mod which allows you to have native bluetooth functionality in your old Jaguar. You can listen to music, podcasts, sat-nav etc. through your sound system and control it all using the steering wheel controls. There is also a microphone included for phone calls which can be answered on the steering wheel if you so wish. Sound quality is VASTLY superior to a bluetooth radio transmitter. I have made a beginners guide to installing the 2023 Jagaux bluetooth adaptor in my Jaguar XJ (x350) from 2003. This guide is for the PREMIUM Alpine stereo bluetooth kit but you can buy a kit for standard audio systems as well. The kit also works with X-Type, S-type but the radio removal will be different of course. Skip to the 16 minute mark if you want to get to the radio mod part. The guide is very much a beginners bolt-by-bolt guide to removing the centre console, the radio and CD player and splicing in the Jagaux Bluetooth. As it is intended as a beginners guide, please understand that it is a long video but do feel free to skip to an appropriate time using the time codes below.
