Orphan’s Promise arrived in Cape Town in March 2015. In addition to visiting projects, they were able to experience Cape Town and its beauty, diversity, and rich culture. During the visit, some of the Life Child team were able to learn valuable insights into effective communication and reporting. This training assisted them in growing their capacity and in sharing the heart of Life Child which is seen through lives being rescued, changed, and restored. In 2014, Orphan’s Promise partnered with Life Child to purchase and renovate our Emergency Safety House. During the 2015 visit, they were able to see the current stage of renovations and what will be completed in the near future. In addition, OP provided funds for the construction of and renovations to several pre-schools Life Child has partnered with. Orphan’s Promise was able to see first hand the difference that their partnership with Life Child is making within the community. This story is from March 2015.
