Visitors are not welcome due to commercial security and health and safety. I got special permission and had to be escorted. These are just some of the shots taken that day. I believe there is planning permission in place for housing and industrial units. Security here is like Fort Knox, believe me. The original design drawing numbers and descriptions are shown and were taken from an original 1940's site plan. Of course when the USN used the base later, they adapted and changed the use of many buildings and indeed added a few of their own. A really amazing place and I am grateful to the owner for allowing me access and the chance to get some images.
