The construction of the Daulat Khana-i Khas is a debatable one. A few historians are of the opinion that it was built by Hafiz Sultan Muhammad Rakhna as a part of the original plan of this garden. On the walls of Daulat Khana-i Khas, some beautiful fresco designs are still faintly visible In front of this structure are the remains of a number of beautiful fountains and tanks. However, the current condition of Daulat Khana-i Khas is in ruins, as the stairs for access to the second storey are half-broken and the ceiling also half-destroyed; it seems it may come down soon one of these days. Towards the west of Daulat Khana-i Khas lies another structure popularly known as Sard Khana, which means a cool palace. There is an assumption that it was built by Hafiz Rakhna, but written records show that it was commissioned by the Emperor Jahangir. From inside it feels like a Bhool Bhulaiya, a maze with many entrances. Attached to the Sard Khana is a well, which provided the water supply to this structure. In fact, the entire water source for each and every structure (Hammam, Fountains, and Tanks) was from this well. Currently, the Sard Khana and the well are in a completely dilapidated condition. The Sard Khana has sunk a lot towards its left and is now tilted, whereas the well is dry with wild grasses growing inside it. So, please the complete video to ge better understandind.
