Game Info --------------------------------------------------- Developer: Konami Publisher: Konami Year of Release: 1994 Game Review & Impressions --------------------------------------------------- The Contra franchise has always been synonymous with Nintendo and its NES and SNES consoles, but Sega Genesis owners received their own entry in the long-running series in 1994. It's a suitably action-packed romp through various stages, blasting enemies and taking on ludicrously oversized bosses in a fight to the death. Contra: Hard Corps features four different playable characters to choose from, each with their own unique set of weaponry, which adds some variety to the gameplay. Brad Fang, a weird yet ridiculously cool lycanthrope with cybernetic arms and sporting shades is my favourite of the bunch. Interestingly, you'll get to make choices at certain points during the game's story which influence the ending you'll eventually get on completion. There are also some hidden secrets and bonus endings to be found if you look of the beaten track, and I've included these as bonus features at the end of the video.
