China's First Lady Visits Special School in Belgrade

China's first lady Peng Liyuan visited a special school in Belgrade on Saturday morning in the company of her Serbian counterpart Dragica Nikolic. Peng was warmly welcomed by Nikolic and the principal of the special school. Faculty representatives presented flowers to Peng and Nikolic. Peng watched students make pottery and dance, and wished all students health and happiness. She donated equipment for rehabilitation training. On the same day, Peng and Nikolic also visited the Belgrade Botanic Garden and planted a dove tree, that symbolizes the traditional friendship between China and Serbia. After visiting the botanic garden, Peng, accompanied by Nikolic, visited the tennis training club of the world's top tennis player Novak Djokovic. They were taken around by the mother, brother and uncle of Djokovic. Peng gave the center the Chinese version of Djokovic's autobiography "Serve to Win: The 14-Day Gluten-Free Plan for Physical and Mental Excellence" as a gift.
