The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc Sec movie explained in English || #adventure In Paris, c. 1912 Professor Espérandieu is experimenting with telepathic techniques, and accidentally hatches a 136-million-year-old pterosaur egg inside the National Museum of Natural History. This results in the death of a former prefect (sharing a taxi cab with a Moulin Rouge showgirl) witnessed only by a then-drunk Chopard who claims to have seen the creature. The French president orders the case to be looked into with the utmost urgency by the national police, only for it to be handed over to Inspector Albert Caponi. Adèle Blanc-Sec, a journalist and travel writer of some repute, finds herself involved after returning from Egypt, where she was searching for Patmosus, the mummified doctor/physician of Ramesses II. She wants to revive the mummy with Espérandieu's help so the doctor can save her sister Agathe, who is unconscious after an unfortunate tennis incident involving a hat pin. After a brief struggle with the mysterious Professor Devault, she retrieves the mummy and returns home. His mission is complicated by the fact that Sprandio is put on death row in exchange for Inspector Capone and celebrity big game hunter Justin de St. Hubert, who is blamed for pterosaur attacks. I have had no success in getting rid of this beast myself. Andrzej Zaborowski, a researcher at the Jardin des Plantes who falls in love with Adele, is able to lure the pterosaur into hiding. Adele, riding a pterosaur, rescues Esperandio moments before his execution. St. Hubert teams up with Esperandio to fatally shoot the pterosaur, but not before Esperandio can revive the mummy. Mimi reveals herself to be Pharaoh's physicist ("I'm a nuclear physicist. I work in figures, symbols, and equations.") and is medically unable to help her sister. Instead he accompanies Adele to the Louvre, where they resurrect the rest of the pharaoh's mummified court, including the pharaoh himself. Pharaoh's doctor uses his advanced medical techniques to revive Agathi. The pharaoh then decides he wants to see Paris, so the entire court wanders out into the night, scaring the ever-hapless Chopard again. Adèle decides she needs a vacation to rest. As she boarded the ship, the name RMS Titanic came up. Dieuleveult is then shown, sarcastically wishing him a "good trip". In the mid-credits scene, Maynard pursues Saint-Hubert with a rifle, still angry that Saint-Hubert shot the pterosaur. Maynard is captured by Caponi as two guerillas stare at St. Hubert in horror.
