There are no pests — only relationships we don’t yet understand. In this video, I share how growing a biodiverse garden reduces damage naturally and reshapes how we see foraging animals. Hello and welcome to Willows Green Permaculture 🌱 Instead of trying to eliminate “pests,” we take a different approach: we design for biodiversity. Over the years, we’ve learned that a healthy ecosystem doesn’t remove challenges — it transforms them. I’ll walk you through the practical strategies we use to protect our harvests while still welcoming life: • Designing gardens that work with wildlife • Using biodiversity as nature’s own pest control • Creating habitat for the species that help us • Rethinking fences, boundaries, and balance • Why sharing some of the harvest can make the whole system stronger When we stop fighting nature and start listening to it, something remarkable happens: healthier food, greater resilience, and a deeper sense of belonging within the living world. Thank you for being here — and as always, I read and respond to all of your comments. 🌱 🌱 Seed Catalogue If you’d like to grow many of the varieties you see in our garden, you can explore our seed catalogue. All seeds are grown, dried, and stored here at home. Every image you see on our website, in the catalogue, and on the seed packet labels comes directly from our gardens. 🌱 Visit our Seed Catalogue 👉 https://www.willowsgreenpermaculture.com 🌿 Consultations Thinking about starting a garden: on a balcony, in a backyard, at a school, or as part of a larger personal or community permaculture project? 📧 Email: apdehors@gmail.com Magali's channel and Website: Elemen-Terre: / @racontemoilinvisible1 Website: https://www.elementerre.ca Support the Channel You can also support this channel by becoming a member.
