That happened to me today… Today I took a trip down memory lane and ventured out to Baldinis Restaurant And Lounge located at 107 Galice Rd in Merlin. This place is extra special for me because I actually went to high school with the owner, and back in the day Baldini’s was where a lot of Friday nights after football games ended. If you grew up around here, you know… Merlin was my stomping grounds. Today I kept it simple and went with the traditional pepperoni pizza. Nothing crazy — just a good old-fashioned pizza. And honestly… it hit the spot. They make their dough and sauce in house, and you can definitely taste the difference. The sauce especially pops with flavor and has a subtle sweetness that balances everything out perfectly. The crust is also dialed in — not too thick and not too thin, just a great classic pizza crust. Moments like this remind me why I love doing these foodie adventures around Southern Oregon.
