過海巴士路線690S，由城巴及九巴聯營，來往坑口及中環（交易廣場），途經百勝角、日出康城，取道將藍公路、東區海底隧道往返灣仔、金鐘。 此路線屬690線之特別班次，只於星期一至五繁忙時間分別提供去程及回程服務，與694S線為僅有兩條來回方向不停東區海底隧道巴士轉乘站的東隧路線。 為突顯此路線以康城為主要服務對象，城巴將此路線列入「康城快線」行列，九巴則安排往中環方向班次顯示特別設計的「康城專線」標誌。 （香港巴士大典） The Cross-Harbour Bus Route 690S is jointly operated by Citybus and Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB). It runs between Hang Hau and Central (Exchange Square), via Pak Shing Kok and LOHAS Park, observing Tseung Lam Highway, Eastern Harbour Crossing and Island Eastern Corridor to and from Wan Chai District (→ Gloucester Road / ← Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay) and Central on Hong Kong Island. This route belongs to the special departure of Route 690 and is only available during the morning and afternoon peak hours from Monday to Friday for both the outbound and return journeys respectively. This route, together with Route 694S, are the only two EHC routes that omit Eastern Harbour Crossing Bus-Bus Interchange. To highlight the fact that this route mainly serves LOHAS Park, the electronic destination signs of Citybus trips heading to Hang Hau will alternately display the destinations "LOHAS Park" and "Hang Hau", while KMB trips heading to Central will display the specially designed "LOHAS Express" logo.
