James Joyce's Ulysses: Awakening To The Wonder

Video three in a three part series on James Joyce's monumental, and monumentally misunderstood classic, Ulysses. Part One listed the 10 Biggest Misconceptions Hindering the reading and understanding of Joyce, Part Two then offered 6 Tips, and here in part three I get to the crux of the matter, what the book is really about. A Dedalusday perspective: Stephen Dedalus said: "History is a nightmare from which I am trying to awaken." And that is precisely what this modern day distinctly Western Buddha-to-Be is in the process of doing. Be warned though, "Bloomsday is for the masses, Dedalusday for the few." Oh, and one last thing. Darned if I can ever get the actual Bloomsday date right, June 16th, 1904, rather than the 6th. But then, 16th, 6th, what does it really matter?
