Opening a preschool in India is definitely an exciting journey. However, this journey can be overwhelming if you are not completely prepared for it. To start with the preschool licensing requirements, the first thing to understand is - there is no specific law for opening a play school in India. However, it is always advisable to consider the laws and regulations set by the state government and also complete the formalities required by the municipal corporation and the education department of the concerned city. Some of the laws that need your consideration are - the POSCO Act 2012, the Juvenile Act 2015, the Child Labour Act 1986, and the Child Labour Act 2016 (this includes Prohibition & Regulation).
