How does a queer community retreat through non-formal learning look like? 👀 In this video we land in Hopeland, Greece and explore our third learning activity within our long-term KA2 Erasmus+ project "Activate Youth". Activate Youth: A community retreat brought together 30 LGBTQIA+/Queer and allies youth in a shared space, where they got the chance to pause from activism and nurture their personal and community well-being through outdoors and nature-based activities. The Experiential Learning Program was organized between 27.09 - 08.10.2024. 🌐 Follow the whole journey and find out about the projects' main activities on our playlist: • Activate Stories | Learning Activities How to Get Involved/Follow us at: 🏠 Website: www.activateyouth.net ▶️ Youtube Channel: / @activateyouth-net 🎥 Video Footage by Elina Primaka and video editing by Raina Krēgere. 💖 The learning programme was organized by Active Rainbow (Latvia), and hosted in cooperation with Roes Cooperativa (Greece). It was supported by the collaborator partners: Moja Mavrica (Slovenia), Olde Vechte Foundation (Netherlands), Cassero LGBTQI+ Center/Global Cassero (Italy), and Rõuge Noorsootöö Keskus (Estonia). The project was funded with the support of the European Union's Erasmus+ programme, which is administered in the Netherlands by Erasmusplus Jeugd. #erasmusplus #ActivateYouth #queer #activism #nonformaleducation #youthempowerment #impactstories #lgbtqia #community #youthwork #experientiallearning ____________________________________ All rights reserved © Copyright 2025.
