My First Impression: BEXGEARS 8-String Electric Guitar Kit

It comes with everything you need to build and customize a playable electric guitar. The body is okoume with a poplar burl veneer. The neck is maple with a composite ebony fingerboard. All parts are included, and it looks like it's pretty solidly built. Up until last week I'd never heard of BexGears, when I came across this kit on Amazon while searching for an 8-string kit. I put it out to my subscribers and one of them graciously ordered it off my list and had it sent directly to me. Super cool! BexGears' website says they're based in the USA and only ship to the USA, even though their instruments are made in China and available in Canada on Amazon. That's OK...we'll try it out anyway.
