Cal vs. Georgia Tech: Playing in their first game of the 2025 ACC Baseball Championship, the top-seeded Yellow Jackets jumped out on top of the 16-seeded Golden Bears early and then added on late for a 10-3 victory to advance to the semifinals. In the bottom of the first inning, Georgia Tech jumped out to a 4-0 lead thanks to home runs by Drew Burress, Kyle Lodise, and Caleb Daniels. Then, after Cal cut the lead to 4-2, Georgia Tech started blasting home runs again. Drew Rogers hit a solo home run in the seventh inning. Alex Hernandez hit a solo home run and Burress added a second home run in the eighth inning. Also in the eighth inning, Vahn Lackey hit an inside-the-park home run. Georgia Tech's Tate McKee got the win by throwing 6.1 innings, and striking out 10 while giving up eight hits and two earned runs. For Cal, Jacob French went 4 for 5 at the plate, and Jarren Advincula went 3 for 5 with a run scored.
