The special working qualities of PanPastel allows artists to blend and apply dry color like paint for the first time in painting, drawing, and mixed media. By using the specially created sponge applicators (Sofft® Tools), artists can quick apply large areas of color and easily switch to tools with a finer point or edge for detail work. Despite being very dry pastel color, PanPastel generates much less dust than conventional stick pastels.
