We climbed a 600-meter route from Asama Mountain Hut to Kamoshika-daira to the Volcano Hall and back. Unfortunately, we didn't see any Japanese serow. However, it took us 3 hours to climb up the mountain, stopping on the way, along a wonderfully varied course with streams, forests and mountain scenery.
