Filmed in the John Pennekamp State Park at South Carysfort Reef in Key Largo, Florida this amazing video shot from Gopro 10 and DJI Mini 3 Drone ➡️ Swimming with the fishes and sea turtles and sharks oh my! The reef is home to a diverse wildlife population, and we were lucky enough to see several on our snorkeling adventure at Carysfort Reef. This reef is one of the many SPA (specially protected areas) in the John Pennekamp State Park. Named after the ill-fated HMS Carysfort, a navy post ship that crashed into the reef in 1770, this reef is home to the oldest functioning lighthouse of its kind in America. This lighthouse was the first Florida reef light to be built. ➡️ South Carysfort Reef is one of my favorite snorkeling sights in Key Largo. The spectacular drone footage shows a sample of the beautiful wildlife you can see at this reef!
