Still, Meath could only take care of business here and did so with relative ease despite losing high profile coaching duo Martin Corey and Joe McMahon just last weekend. “The overriding emotion is disappointment that they’re gone…” @MeathGAA boss Robbie Brennan spoke after today’s game in Navan, during which he touched on the departure of Joe McMahon and Martin Corey from the Meath setup. Carlow, meanwhile, were managed by interim boss Joe Murphy following the pre-Championship departure of Shane Curran.
