Hana Nazir will spend a year at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for a residency in internal medicine before returning to Augusta for a three-year residency in dermatology. She credits her interest in medicine to her grandfather, a surgeon, and to caring for her grandmother, suffering from ALS. She has her eyes on academic dermatology and already has experience editing a research journal.
