I feel this has much to do with it having perhaps outgrown the motivations of its creation. Now it has crept into suburban areas that can not relate to the desperate need to replace creativity and thought with dogmatic regurgitation. Don’t get me wrong I do not hate narcotics anonymous and I do not hate recovery I am just excreting my right as member to criticize an organization I belong to. Much like Martin Luther nailed his opinions to the Wittenberg Church so to am I presenting my concerns and opinions to the world. In all honesty I really love Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous but my concern is that in many meeting they sometimes feel more like a religious organization stuck in dogmatic practices that should have been examined years ago. These fellowships are living breathing entities that will not thrive manacled to the concepts and ideas of our well meaning founders.
