Looking for the most in-depth look at Operation Cactus Lily of the Indo-Pak War of 1971? Using detailed explanations with pictures and hand-drawn maps, let's find out how the Indian army's 95 Mountain Brigade had crushed the Pakistani armed forces in East Pakistan and reached Dhaka. The Brigade had launched their offensive from Tura in Meghalaya and had crushed the enemy at Kamalpur, Bakshiganj, destroyed an entire Pakistani battalion at Jamalpur and had linked up with the Paratroopers at Tangail and reached Dhaka, covering over 200 miles in 12 days of the operation.
