NEIL'S SHOCKING CONSULTANT VISIT: Immediate high dose Methylprednisolone steroids, and Azathioprine.

My consultant Neurologist was SHOCKED at how much I'd deteriorated over the past 12 months. She wasted NO TIME at all, and immediately got me in for steroid treatment. Over the very next three consecutive days, I had intravenous Methylprednisolone steroids to suppress my immune system in the short term. I also had to start on my new immunosuppressant drug called "Azathiopine", this can take 2 - 3 months to kick in.
