Mary was the chosen one. She was blessed among women because she said YES to God the Father. She said YES to Jesus, our Savior. Imagine the joy Mary felt when she incarnated the Son of God. It didn't matter if the conditions of the place of birth were the simplest possible, Mary loved her son and from that first moment she became an example of faith, trust and fidelity to the Eternal Father. Mary, our Mother, is an example and source of the purest joy. Her unconditional love for God the Father and His Work made her a model to be followed by men and women of all generations. If God Himself chose her to be the mother of His Son, imagine the spiritual treasures we can attain by meditating on His Joys. Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska was born in Poland in 1905 and, at the age of twenty, entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. In 1934, while she was in Lithuania, she began writing Divine Mercy in My Soul, a series of diaries in which she recounted the enlightenments she received through her prayers. The Diary was written by express order of the Lord. The Lord said to Sister Faustina: "Your task is to write down everything I am making known to you about my Mercy for the benefit of souls who, by reading these writings, will experience consolation in their souls and will have the courage to draw near to me. And so I desire that you dedicate every free moment to writing" (n° 1693). That is why let us pray this HOLY CHALET OF DIVINE MERCY with great faith!
