It has a curved 440c stainless blade, gemsbok horn handle, stainless guard and some other details that are yet to be decided. I also show some of my other knives I've made and knives I own, a few Randall Made, Pat Thomas and factory made knives. I go over my knife making tools and work space as well. In general I have a very simple set up, the only specialized tool I have is a 2 X 72 belt grinder which could be substituted with files or a more common belt grinder like a Craftsman. My particular model is a speed cut. My main tools are a dewalt grinder with cut off wheels and grinding disks, Nicholson files and various abrasives. My work space is fairly modest as well, I have floor space for my grinder and a workbench about 6 feet long. As a hobby you can get by with a minimal set up.
