Ham Radio - Parks on the Air by Bike in Washington DC at LBJ Memorial Grove

My wife and I are avid cyclists in the DC-Metro Area, and I often take my Ham Radio gear along with us. I participate in an activity called "Parks on the Air" (POTA), which incentivizes and challenges licensed amateur radio operators to make contacts while portable in registered park entities (usually federal and state parks). This trip was to my favorite "activation spot" in LBJ Memorial Park. My route takes me along to Potomac River and through the city of Alexandria. I cross into Arlington County, while passing Reagan/National Airport on my right. Other landmarks featured include the Washington Monument, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Merchant Marine Memorial, Gravelly Point, the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and Jones Point Park.
