3Speak has made a post detailing an overview of their new Acela Core. I’m assuming the image in the post is meant to try to make it more simpler to see the overview. But it looks much more like a wiring diagram or schematic than an overview. I honestly dont see how or why there is a need to reinvent the wheel when there are existing solutions in play already. To us this looks like added points of failure, massive development and constant ongoing maintenance. Something that will require a lot of overhead to operate.
