studio recording and music videos coming soon! ‘The Oboe Suite’ is a collection of pieces exploring the personal connection of the oboe through the lens of Molly Sellors, as well as providing audio lessons around the history of the instrument and reed making. Composed by Charlotte Devlin, the pieces feature beats made from the samples of unusual and extended sounds of the oboe, expect EDM and industrial inspired beats, catchy riffs and humour from this newly composed piece. Molly's Oboe Charlotte Devlin is a composer, performer, and producer from South Lanarkshire, Scotland. She explores the use of everyday objects and sounds as instruments, transforming them through digital processing and occasionally incorporating spoken voice from her open calls or interviews. Her practice examines music from a sonic and textural perspective. In December 2025 Charlotte released her debut experimental electronica EP ‘sonicinvoluntaryreflex’ which was featured in The Skinny and BBC Introducing. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (ABRSM Scholar, 2025), she also trained at The Purcell School and the Royal College of Music Junior Department, and studied historical oboe with Alexandra Bellamy and at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague. She performs with Paraorchestra and has appeared at the BBC Proms, and is a member of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment’s Ann and Peter Law Experience Scheme (2026–27). Molly is the director of Hoolan Ensemble, an ensemble dedicated to bringing music to wider audiences through new work and performances in unconventional spaces, including IKEA and cinemas across the UK.
