Advantages over Challenges: Winning Women Leadership | Tatevik Revazian | TEDxYerevanSalon

Tatevik is often times asked about the challenges she has faced as a women leader, but her fulfilling career choices and achievements tell a story of proper usage of advantages. She is certain, that the right focus determines the path regardless of the circumstances. Tatevik Revazian served as the youngest Director General of Civil Aviation Authority in the world, while being the first female DG in Armenia. Despite her young age, she has 20 years of experience, 15 of which are tied to aviation spanning from Copenhagen, Brussels, San Francisco to Yerevan. With a double Master’s Degree in Management of Innovation and Business Development & International Management, Tatevik is also certified in Aviation Security and Safety Management. In 2017, Tatevik rolled up her sleeves and returned to Armenia to contribute to the development of the country. During her tenure as DG, she has led through historic times with the pandemic paralyzing the aviation sector globally, warfare testing risk assessment capabilities and preventive processes. She and her team have implemented safety reforms and managed to bring new carriers to the local market, tripling the number of announced flight routes from Europe to Armenia.
