This study proposes a blockchain-based approach for transparent and trackable carbon management in the construction supply chain to address concerns regarding data quality and confidentiality. A system was developed comprising off-chain carbon management and on-chain (public blockchain) storage, with technical highlights of: role-based access control for functionality, hierarchical hashing strategy for validation, and selective data disclosure before on-chain. The research's contributions include enhancing data quality and traceability for carbon assessments."
