Lynyrd Skynyrd performed the songs 'Whiskey Rock-A-Roller' and "Saturday Night Special' from the 1975 album titled 'Nuthin' Fancy' in 4K LIVE in front of a SOLD-OUT crowd on 08/27/2023 at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto, ON Canada. Lynyrd Skynyrd (/ˌlɛnərd ˈskɪnərd/ LEN-ərd SKIN-ərd) is an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida. The group originally formed as My Backyard in 1964 and comprised Ronnie Van Zant (lead vocalist), Gary Rossington (guitar), Allen Collins (guitar), Larry Junstrom (bass guitar), and Bob Burns (drums). The band spent five years touring small venues under various names and with several lineup changes before deciding on "Lynyrd Skynyrd" in 1969. The band released its first album, (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd), in 1973. By then, they had settled on a lineup that included bassist Leon Wilkeson, keyboardist Billy Powell, and guitarist Ed King. Burns left and was replaced by Artimus Pyle in 1974. King left in 1975 and was replaced by Steve Gaines in 1976. At the height of their fame in the 1970s, the band popularized the Southern rock genre with songs such as "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird". From their humble Jacksonville beginnings, through tragedy, reunion, and redemption, the band has earned its place on Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time” – as well as a prominent spot in the hearts of generations. In 2023, with the 50th anniversary of their pioneering debut album Pronounced ‘Lĕh-’nérd ‘Skin-’nérd the band continues to tour, record, and delight their hundreds of millions of global fans with an eye on both the future and their rich history. After five decades and more than 60 albums, the musical powerhouse continues to tour – delighting crowds around the world with their iconic sound. 2023 sees them teaming with fellow southern legends ZZ Top for the “Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour,” as well as playing several stand-alone concerts for their enthusiastic and generational fan base. As founding member Gary Rossington says, “We’re still standing, Still keeping the music going. We wanted to do the guys who aren’t with us any more proud – and keep the name proud, too.” @experience.livimedia @SkynyrdOfficial @budweiser @livenation @LiveNationCanada #livi #livimedia #lynyrdskynyrd #whiskeyrockaroller #saturdaynightspecial #nothinfancy #budweiserstage #livenation #livenationcanada #rock #classicrock #southernrock #bluesrock #countryrock #hardrock #fypyoutube #fypシ #fypシ゚viral #fyp #70s #70smusic #70shits #70srock
