I've stayed at Fontainebleau twice in the last four months. Fontainebleau has a reputation as being an extremely luxurious Las Vegas resort that's in an awful location on the north side of the Strip. I've found this weakness to actually be its strength as it's clear to entice residents to stay there, management must sweeten the pot, offering both reasonable room rates in addition to ample food and beverage credits. In two stays, I've received $225 in total resort credits, and even $30 in free play for signing up for their casino loyalty rewards program. Note: It appears my best offers aren't even tied to gambling as my brother has received the same promotional offers and had never even gambled on a card within the casino (he has since started). I had only gambled $100 total before my last stay which included a $175 resort credit (3-night minimum) F&B credits have covered every meal and drink except for one quesadilla, thanks to poor budgeting on my part (burning $100 in credits on cocktails at Collins the night prior) These enticing deals have ultimately made Fontainebleau an easy choice from a cost perspective. The Bleau King Room is one of the nicest, most modern in Vegas, and is an aesthetic masterpiece, with all the bells and whistles. The resort makes a stunning impression, especially the check-in lobby and the casino floor. It's high-class and feels more akin to a ballroom than a Las Vegas casino. There are six pools on-site, and the Oasis Pool Deck is the star of the show, featuring three massive pools. The Legacy Pool is Fontainebleau's 21+ option and felt a little more serene. I ate at El Bagel, Roadside Taco, Miami Slice, and Chez Bon Bon, and indulged in a few fancy cocktails at Collins. The Tavern serves as a bar/restaurant and as a sportsbook. The Bleaulive Theatre and LIV Beach are other entertainment options for guests to enjoy. My conclusion was that Fontainebleau is one of the best values in Las Vegas thanks to the reasonable room rates and generous F&B credits. While the location isn't great, ride-share is cheap and isn't as much of a hindrance as people think. Don't be afraid to use Fontainebleau as a home base, even if you enjoy exploring other areas of Las Vegas. My biggest gripe was the resort's vibe, which felt pretentious at times, with many guests attempting to flaunt their wealth and status. After four nights at the resort, it started to weigh on me a bit, but I was generally out and about during the day, and only spent mornings and evenings at the resort. 0:00 Intro 0:28 Room Cost 0:49 First Impressions 1:10 Bleau King Room Review 2:11 Bleau King Bathroom Review 2:45 Bleau King Room Flaws 4:20 Food & Beverage Credits 5:49 Fontainebleau Location 6:23 Fontainebleau Casino 7:03 Fontainebleau Pools 7:40 Fontainebleau Bars & Restaurants 10:31 The Tavern SportsBook & Washing Potato 11:00 Fontainebleau Entertainment 11:26 Fontainebleau Fitness Center 11:59 Fontainebleau Art 12:36 Fontainebleau Verdict
