WHEELCHAIR VAN FOR HUDSYN'S BIRTHDAY!

Hudsyn's 7th birthday commenced with a small party at our home where we gave one of her biggest presents yet...her new wheelchair accessible VAN! We sang Happy Birthday to Hudsyn and Kacy gave small speech thanking everyone who made this possible. The new van didn't come without a lot of support from our village of friends, family and others who helped make it happen financially. Special thanks to: United Cerebral Palsy of Kansas (UCP); Variety KC & Deb Wiebrecht; Bob Serr and the Paisely Mae Foundation; KS Society for Children with Challenges; Fox41 KSHB News & Lindsay Shively; Bonfire.com & Brian Marks; Martin Janica; Corrie Jones and all our flair bartending friends in Las Vegas for the fundraiser there they did (over $5,700 raised in one evening!!); Capital City Bank; and alllll of the individual donors who purchased shirts or donated on her Facebook page. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!! Without you, none of this would've been possible. Damek talked our ear off and even while Hudsyn got her hair done! You get to see her bathroom setup (R82 Manatee bath chair) that we use each day for bathing. Hudsyn's van is a 2015 Dodge Ram Promaster Tempest X and was converted with a Fiorella lift system. The rear seat lays flat so now we have a place to change her diapers while out & about with privacy (window screens) and ease!
