(50g/150m) 🧷 Needles: 6.5 mm 📐 Gauge: 11 stitches × 20 rows = 10×10 cm 📏 Size shown: S (model is 170 cm tall / 5’7”) ⸻ Step-by-step: 1️⃣ I cast on 125 stitches on 6.5 mm needles 2️⃣ Worked 8 rows of 1×1 ribbing (k1, p1) 3️⃣ Placed markers: 7 stitches on each side for the button bands — continued in rib, rest in stockinette 4️⃣ Knitted straight until desired body length — tried it on as I went 5️⃣ Split into three sections:   • 34 stitches for each front panel   • 57 stitches for the back   Worked each panel separately to desired armhole height 6️⃣ Bound off shoulder stitches   • Extended button band ribbing 2 extra rows   • Mattress stitch to seam shoulders and ribbed bands 7️⃣ Picked up 52 stitches around each armhole   • Knit in the round to sleeve length   • Finished with 8 rows of 1×1 rib — And voilà — my fluffy, lightweight cardigan is done 💛 Try it yourself and save this post for later! 🧵 Want more tutorials like this?
