Suzuki is quietly climbing the ranks in Ireland’s car market, gaining market share and outselling brands like Tesla, MG and BYD. A big reason? Affordable, well-equipped cars like the 2025 Suzuki Vitara. In this video, I take a look at the updated Vitara, a compact SUV starting from €31,635. While its styling hasn’t changed drastically since 2015, it still holds a rugged, boxy charm, and the 2025 refresh brings some cosmetic changes, new colours and updated alloy wheels. Inside, the Vitara may feel old-school with analogue dials and a manual gearbox, but it’s solid, practical and now features a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, enhanced safety tech and more comfort in the Ultra trim (like a panoramic sunroof and suede/leather seats). Under the bonnet, I test the 1.4 Boosterjet mild hybrid with AllGrip 4WD. Smooth, responsive and even fun, delivering 130hp and decent real-world economy.
