What is Snowskate Longboarding? How did we get here?

Spoiler, it's a discipline born out of a unique selection of equipment, terrain, and technique for riding snowskates. To define it any further wades into the realm of logical fallacies and gatekeeping. Who am I to say what does or does not "enable a longboard style on the snow" - we may have very different concepts of longboarding. I know what kind of longboarding inspires me so I try to design my equipment to allow me to emulate that on the snow. It was out of sync for a couple riding clips and I struggled to balance the audio in post. My father abused me and instilled me with a deep sense of toxic shame, so it's something I have to face like a trigger when I edit these videos. So, apologies if I miss some things in editing. I can only spend so much time on a video then I become so self-critical I can't even post it. At some point I just have to post it and move on. I'm getting more confident, slowly.
