i found a progressive church but... | Pt. 2.2

Whew... what a year so far. I've been deconstructing my Christian faith for just over a year a year now, landing on a framework called 'liberation theology'. I've moved churches all my life so this season of 'church hunting' is not unfamiliar; indeed, I'm aware that "there's no such thing as a perfect church." What is unfamiliar, however, is trying to find a church 1) on my own and 2) that is fully affirming of LGBTI+ ideology and a zeal for social justice, in general. I believe I found that space, but there are some variables that require thoughtful consideration. One of which being the question: What justifies this pursuit in the first place?
