Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women DESCRIPTION: Shami kebab or Shaami kebab is a popular local variety of kebab in the Indian Subcontinent. Apart from Punjabi cuisine it is a part of Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. INGREDIENTS: Red chilly 2 nos Mace 1 gms Cardamom 1 nos Cloves 2 nos Tailed pepper ½ tsp Black cumin seeds ½ tsp Coriander seeds ½ tsp Cumin seeds ½ tsp Chana dal(boiled) ½ cup Soya chunks ½ cup Coriander leaves(chopped) 1 tbs Mint leaves(chopped) 1 tbs Oil 1 tsp Butter ½ tsp Lime juice 1 tsp METHOD: 1. Take soya granules and place in boiling water for 5 mins and squeeze water and keep aside. 2. Heat pan and add red chilly, mace, cardamom, cloves, tailed pepper, black cumin seeds, coriander, cumin seeds and dry roast it. 3. Transfer into mixie jar to make fine powder and transfer into a plate. 4. In the same mixie jar add chana dal, soya chunks and make smooth powder. 5. Take a bowl and add masala powder, smooth paste, ginger, garlic, green chillies, red chilly powder, salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves, lime juice and mix nicely. 6. Take small dumpling and give kabab shape. 7. Heat butter with little oil in a pan and place the kabab and cook it on both sides. 8. Now the Shammi kabab is ready to serve.
