McGinley Powers Stars/ Squared Away Colorado Past Empire/CBB McGinley hit two home runs and drove in five as Stars/ Squared Away Colorado defeated Empire/CBB 27-6 on Friday. McGinley homered in the third and second innings. Empire/CBB opened the scoring in the first after Munoz grounded out, scoring one run. Stars/ Squared Away Colorado flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring six runs on six hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Kearney that drove in two. 11 more Stars/ Squared Away Colorado runs crossed the plate in the second inning to extend the lead to 17-1. Aaron tripled, scoring two runs, Stubbings singled, scoring one run, Morrison hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Kearney doubled, scoring two runs, Lorenzini doubled, scoring one run, Ericson singled, scoring two runs, and McGinley homered, scoring two runs. Rodriguez homered, scoring two runs in the top of the third for the Empire/CBB. Stars/ Squared Away Colorado added eight more runs in the bottom of the third inning on six hits.
