92 key Decap dance organ "Jeanneke" - April 2024

The St. Albans Organ Museum's excellent 92 key Decap "Jeanneke", filmed playing at the Mechanical Organ Owners' Society (MOOS) AGM on the 20th of April 2024 (playing some decidedly better arrangements than in the previous video of this organ I filmed...!) Kicking off this video is the excellent "Big Band" style arrangement of the "Sheik of Araby" by Willy van Wichelen (aka Willy Rockin') as well as "Leonard Mazurka" (probably not the actual title, I assume this title was given to the book in honour of Leonard Grymonprez) and two very different versions of "Orient Express" (decide for yourselves which is better or worse!) Lastly, those of you who own the LP featuring the 101 key Grymonprez-Mortier will no doubt recognise the arrangement of "Juul Kabas" - this book came from the organ and was cut down to fit Jeanneke (all that was lost were some extra registers and percussion effects.)
