In A Landmark Verdict, Supreme Court Recognises "Living Will", Allows Passive Euthanasia

In a landmark judgement, the Supreme Court today allowed passive euthanasia but with strict guidelines. The court also said the guidelines will be in force till a law is passed. A 'living will' is made by a person, in his normal state of mind, seeking voluntary euthanasia in case of terminal illness, if he or she reaches an irreversible vegetative state.
