Hey everyone, welcome to the travel vlog of Uttan. Uttan Virgin Beach/Velankanni Beach is one of the most cleanest, serene, picturesque & less crowded beach in Mumbai. Uttan town is located 8 km away from Bhayander Station and is full of people of the Koli & East Indian Catholic community. Uttan is basically a coastal town surrounded by palm trees, resorts, beautiful bungalows & narrow roads. The major occupation of the people living here is fishing. It is famous for its fresh fish as well dried fish stock. The major attractions at Uttan are Velankanni Church, Velankanni Chapel, beautiful Uttan coast and the marvelous statue of Mother Mary at hill top. The view of the sea & surrounding uttan town from the Mother Mary statue which is right on top of the hill, is simply breathtaking. Therefore, it is one of the Best Place to visit in Mumbai for a Day trip and spend the evening with family and friends. So, How can you go to this amazing coast of Uttan? Don't worry, below is the simple and easy route; 1) Travel to Bhayander Railway Station through the local train of Mumbai. 2) The beach is in the west direction. Modes of transport to access the beach are private vehicle, rickshaw and bus. The fare for bus and rickshaw is as follows: Rickshaw - around Rs.200 (Single journey), Bus - Rs. 17 (Per head single journey ticket) Bus no. - 01 & 02, MBMT (Mira Bhayander Municipal Transport) Bus which is from Bhayander Station (W) to Uttan Naka. 3) After getting down from the bus at Uttan Naka stop, the Uttan beach is at a walking distance of 1.4 km. #travelwow #abhishekmungekar #uttanbeach #minigoaofmumbai #velankannibeach
