The Field Trip (London 1993)

In 1992 I went from my GCSEs at Doncaster College, to a degree with Sheffield Hallam University, which was a 2 year DipHe that became a degree in Year 2. In our second year, in 1993, we went on a weekend field trip to London by coach and it was the wildest, maddest time ever. My fellow students were a range of people all doing their degree for differing reasons and each a character to say the least. This is the story of that trip, turned from a poem I wrote when we got back and translated into a song and video in January 2026.
