I have competed in races across Slovakia and Europe. I also participated in the 2023 SWS World Championships at Slovakia Ring, finishing 18th. A joker lap in karting is an alternate route on the track that drivers must take at least once during a race. Unlike the standard racing line, the joker lap is usually longer or more challenging, making its timing a key strategic element. Drivers decide when to take it—early to get it out of the way, or late to gain a tactical advantage.
