In this video I get my hands on a nice KORG KR55 drum machine. A preset drum machine from the late 1970's I love the sound of this machine. The kick and snare especially. I install a clock sync socket and get the machine running with the MINDBURNER MIDI to DINSYNC unit. This is available from the mindburner online shop. I also do a device, MINDBURNER S to V and V to S trigger that allows the KR55 to use it's 5v to GND S-trig type output to drive a regular GATE for use with a roland or other synths arpeggiator. As the user manual states the machine draws 6w I used a 45029 MYRRA 18v x2 secondaries, which should suffice. A 6VA. A 12VA (i.e. each secondary 6vA) or more unit may be a better solution, provided it physically fits. ⚡Live voltages are present in the machine so always take care.
